of the book ‘Making Room’ by Joanne Taylor with illustrations by
local artist Peter Rankin. Based on the true story of John William and
Annie Smith, who lived in Mull River, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in the
1800s, this is a warm and witty look at what makes a home and who
makes up a family. A ceilidh featuring Heather & Raylene Rankin
and Rita, Mary, Joanne & Claire Rankin will be part of the
afternoon launch. Light refreshments and book signing to follow.
