lost on a particular family from England. The Long Family spent two
weeks in Mabou in 2004 and plan to come back to celebrate Steve and
Eileen's 50th birthdays in October. They are so impressed by the
beauty of our landscape, the friendliness of our people and the
outstanding talent on Cape Breton Island, they feel that this should
be the place to mark this milestone. They have asked Raylene to
perform a full concert for them and want to open this celebration up
to the entire community at Strathspey Place on October 28th. Profits
from this concert will go a local registered charity. Birthday
cake and tea will be served during the Intermission. Everyone welcome!
